Oh my God, I still can't believe this was week 10 and our last week, it is incredible all the wonderful things we have been through, all the things we have learned, I feel a little bit sad because this has come to an end and at the same time I feel happy because I have achieve my goals, I finished this course succesfully, this is basicaly my last activity here.
Well, during this week (which was the shortest by the way) we had a recap of all the things we have done, we had a discussion about the things we would recommend new participants which in certain way helped me reflect on my performance and about the way in wich I could have fully taken advantage of the resources availables here, many good comments from my collegues by the way.
We had a second discussions about the models or frameworks to integrate technology in our classrooms
here the two models:
http://fcit.usf.edu/matrix/matrix.php and http://www.k12.wa.us/edtech/techliteracy/techinttiers.aspx
I like both but I prefer the first on Technology Integration Matrix, what about you?
Wonderful, this hast been wonderful, I loved this course, it has influenced my teaching and learning, I want to thank my classmates, Donna and the hard-workning staff from the University of Oregon, and finally I also want to thank all the sponsors who made this possible.
Thank you

Week 9
I can’t believe this course is about to
end. I feel kind of sad but at the same time happy for all the things we have
learned so far. This week for example, we were introduced to ANVILL, we
explored this platform and I think is wonderful, it has everything. You can
teach online, create exams, quizzes and test your students, and you can have
chat, discussions with all your students easily. Thank you Jeff, you did such
an excellent job.
During this week we also discussed about
the multiple intelligences and learning styles and the way we would integrate
technology according to their intelligences. Very nice comments from my classmates,
I definitely agree with them, here I share the link so you can find out your
most predominant intelligence. There were some other articles that address this
subject. Here the links:
This week we handed in our final projects,
I appreciate the feedback that I received from Shahnoza, her project was also
very good.

Week 8
Hello everyone
During this week we worked on our final project (we exchanged drafts), we had interesting discussions about tools for enhancing learning and I created a site to work online with my class, we described it in our wiki page, I liked the activities we had, many good ideas from teachers around the world, I like my class, they are great. we had access to different pages for example: the hot potatoes page, english online, a page for puzzles, and some other interesting sites, all of them will indeed help us with our final project, I am so excited about it, I hope everything goes well for all of us.
In general I believe this was a productive week, it's a pitty that in two more weeks this will end, time flies, I hope to keep in touch with my collegues, they are excellent teachers.
Cheers!!

week 7
This is week 7 already
Time flies, I have read in other blogs, and this week was so interesting, we had discussions on Learner Autonomy, one-computer classroom and mobile devices, both topics are very interesting, there was a lot of interesting material for us to read.
During this week, we also posted material in our class padlet, which I think is a very useful tool for our students, about anything related to Learner Autonomy, and the other topic we also discussed on nicenet, I would like to mention that my classmates are very active in their participations, I really like my class, this week we had a guest, whose name is Jodi, she is from the University of Oregon and she joined our discussion on nicenet.
Finally, I want to add that we started working with parthners to share and give feedback to our final projects, I am very excited about this, I hope we all do it alright.

week 6
Hello world
This week (last week actually) was very interesting, to be honest; I have used power point before, but this time I found new features I had never imagined, I learned to crate a jeopardy game using powerpoint, it was very nice, my students loved it, I also encourage some of them to create their owns, this is how: here.
I also learned how to create an interactive quizz: here, I think that if we include some elements in our powerpoint presentations they will become more powerful and we will engage our students attention, it works, really, I have done it.
This week was wonderful, It is a pity I could not post on due time because of technical problems, but here it is.
Thank you everybody for posting comments I really appreciate your time

Week 5
Hello
This week was very interesting, I read information on how to create a webquest , I also looked at different webquests and I finally created my first webquest: here. I found new ideas on how to work with my classes using different tools, something that I really like is the way teachers work using PBL. During this week, we also used a powerful tool to create rubrics for our students. I created a task and I added the rubric for that task, the page is: http://rubistar.4teachers.org/.
Anyways this week has been great in terms of learning, I am more excited about my final project, I found several tools I can use, I think that is going to be difficult for me to select a tool for my class, but I think I have one in mind, and this is nicenet.org. Let's see how it works, this week I created a new class in this page and I wrote my first post. I hope it works for my class.

Week 4
Hello world
This week has been wonderful, in a very personal way, I would like to say that: I just recieved a letter from an international organization (wolrdfund and Rassias Center in Dartmouth College N.H. USA) inviting me to apply to be an Advance Trainer. I know that this is something else, and it has nothing to do with this wonderful course I am taking part of, but I can't hold it in my chest, sorry jejeje.
Anyways, this week was pretty busy, we worked on our final project by describing our learners and a situation that might be solved with technology, but the instructions were clear, look for a problem first not for a solution, the problem will determine the solution, we also worked on lesson plans and readings about technology integration in our classes, we also explored several webs for different purposes:
Reading and vocabulary
multi-skill websites
articles related to CALL
This week has been wonderful... I enjoyed it ;)

Week 2
Hello everybody

Bloom's taxonomy and the ABCD model.
I admit that I was familiar with Bloom's taxonomy but not with digital's taxonomy, by the way, why is this important? it will help us a lot when formulating learning objectives, creating lesson plans, and designing syllabus. I found some articles that thoroughly describe the lower order of thinking skills (LOTS) and the higher order of thinking skills (HOTS) and also the domains and subdomains of thinking skills, follow this link for more information.
I discovered a nice method to state our learning objectives, after reading these articles and some slides I was able to describe my L.O. in a clear way, using the ABCD model (Audience, Behaviour, Condition and Degree),
I think that this course is leading us step by step to create bigger goals and to achieve our final project.
In general I think that this week has been very productive, all of the activities in wich we were engaged: commenting blogs, post on the nicenet, reading articles, visiting websites, updating our blogs, I am so grateful for this.

Websearch:
This week has been full of surprices, first of all I want to mention that I never suspected that there were so many search engines I was only familiar with the most popular (google, yahoo, bing and ask) but I found this site: list of search engines and by the way, this webpage also has a video search engine, and I also discovered this one: Phil Bradleys website and the types of search engines. With all this information people sometimes feel overwhelm, so here I recommend some tips that will help you improve the quality of your searches. Here you will find more interesting articles related to search engines and technology, have you wonder: what's the future of search engines?.

Week 1
Wow
What a week, and it's only week 1, there has been a lot of learning here, first I'd like to say that I like the organization of the content in our wiki, our site and the ICA in fact I want to learn to create spaces like this for my students. I also learned that it is important to set the rules for discussions because it helps to create a good environment for our interaction.
One of the tasks for this week was to create a blog (the one you are reading), it was exciting, I also learned that there are 3 different types of blogs and why we should use them (it's a powerful tool and it's free), more information here and here, I also visited some tutor, class and learner blogs.
This week has been wonderful.
